Objective

Improve the resilience of farmers and public and private actors linked to potato-based Andean agri-food systems in Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador, through the development, application and dissemination of good climate-smart agriculture practices and articulation with differentiated markets.

Beneficiaries

  • 7000 people (54% women) supported to deal with the effects of climate change

Expected Results

1.CSA

Best practices for climate-smart agriculture (CSA) combined with local knowledge are identified, adapted and disseminated among potato producer organisations in territories vulnerable to climate change.

2.AAbP-CI

Commercial innovations generated to link to differentiated markets for products coming from AAbP-CI Systems.

 

3.Lessons learned

Results, evidence, and lessons learned from research and capacity building processes systematised, published, and widely disseminated through the information networks of the different stakeholders.
