1.Lenca and mestizo families

They are reducing their vulnerability to climate change and improving their food security, under a framework of changing attitudes towards the management of water, soil and forest resources.

2.Created and/or strengthened

Water governance mechanisms for the integrated management of the water, forest, and soil resources in two sub-basins with the participation of government actors, civil society, indigenous peoples, women and the private sector, are creating an enabling environment for CSA-RFP.

3.Designed and promoted

A green inclusive rural financing scheme with an RFP and/or ecosystem conservation approach, aimed at small producers in the chains served by the action, which facilitates inter-institutional coordination and the mobilisation of financial resources.

4.Communicated and promoted

Learning about RFP through inter-institutional platforms at the Central American level, which facilitate its scaling up, in the context of South-South cooperation.
