Brussels, Belgium. The third virtual event of the EUROCLIMA+ webinar series, organised by the GIZ-Expertise France team of the Resilient Food Production component, took place on November 12, 2019. Approximately 25 representatives of projects supported by the programme and National Focal Points participated in the webinar.
Laurent Dietsch, consultant of Expertise France, presented the results of the study “Contributions of subsidised projects in the Resilient Food Production sector to the NDCs of the participating countries”.
The results of the analysis of concrete contributions from projects in the Resilient Food Production sector to the NDCs of 11 participating countries were presented, as well as a proposal for 12 types of contributions based on the Paris Agreement to facilitate the monitoring of project contributions to the NDCs, thus adding the values achieved by project and country. This proposed typology of contributions can be applied to all sectors of interest.
