Projects of the EUROCLIMA+ Resilient Food Production Component participate in webinars on Climate Change Indicators and Administrative-Financial Management

El Salvador, August 2.

In recent weeks, representatives of the seven projects aimed at subsidising the Resilient Food Production sector of EUROCLIMA+ participated in webinars aimed at strengthening their capacities for monitoring indicators and the administrative-financial management of implementation. GIZ was in charge of both webinars as the contracting body for the component.

The first webinar was held on May 29 and 16 administrative professionals from the seven projects participated. GIZ, as the contracting body, reported on the different forms and procedures to be followed in the administrative and financial management of each project. Participants took the opportunity to be trained in the use of the tools and resolving their doubts.

The second webinar was held on July 3, and the agenda focused on the standard indicators for the topic of adaptation to climate change for projects financed under the Resilient Food Production component. GIZ, as the contracting body, informed the participants about the purpose of the indicators and how to estimate target values for them. This webinar was attended by ten professionals from the projects of the component, including project coordinators and people in charge of monitoring and evaluation.

Both webinars were recorded and are available to the executors of the projects invited to the event.
