01 October, International Environment Fair - Experts Antonio Solarte and Adrian Rico, from the Centre for Research on Sustainable Systems for Agricultural Production CIPAV,
participated in the International Environment Fair (FIMA) in Colombia from 29 September to 1 October 2021. They represented the project "Resilient Food Production in horticultural-livestock systems of family farming in climatically vulnerable regions", "Resilients" of the EUROCLIMA+ Programme in the Resilient Food Production Sector at the European Union Stand - EUROCLIMA+ Programme. The project is implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and Expertise France, and is executed in Córdoba, La Plata and Patagonia, Argentina by the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA) and in Caquetá, Colombia, by CIPAV.
This participation made it possible to present the project to the visitors and the progress made in the Caquetá foothills in terms of identifying climate risk and the climate change adaptation measures identified and co-designed and currently being implemented with the beneficiary families, in addition to establishing contacts for the project in the region and participating in academic activities.
Josefina Chasqui Calle, cañahua producer of A.P.A.CH.I. commented "we feel proud that our cañahua produced with our own hands reaches Bolivians through products made by the Samiri Farm. Before, we did not have buyers of this magnitude, we sold by the bushel in small quantities and now we are motivated to continue producing in greater quantity and quality."

About the Resilients project
The Resilients project is implemented in Argentina and Colombia for the National Institute of Agricultural Technology and the Centre for Research on Sustainable Agricultural Production Systems. It aims to increase the resilience and adaptation of horticultural and livestock-based food production systems and the livelihoods of rural households in areas of high vulnerability to the negative effects of climate variability and changes.
