On October 4 and 5, the fifth edition of the Mercociudades Resilience School was held with the support from the project Adaptation in Action - Santa Lucía Basin, which is led by the National Water Directorate (Dinagua) of the Ministry of Environment. South American municipal governments held dialogues for training on urban resilience with a thematic focus on integrated water management.
Panama, October 11, 2022. Representatives of families from about a thousand residences in the capital and provinces of Panama will be surveyed starting this October, and until next November, as part of the residential phase of the National Balance in Useful Energy (BEU) project, coordinated by the Latin American Energy Organization (Olade), through the National Secretariat of Energy (SNE).
More than 40 people from 18 countries gathered in Buenos Aires to share experiences on ACE policies, and for the face-to-face meeting of the Community for Practical Learning on Action for Climate Empowerment.
With the participation of representatives from more than 30 countries in the region, the event organised by the programme gave an account of its main impacts and addressed the challenges and projections for the future.
