In commemorating Europe Day, the European Union (EU) officially launched its €35-million climate action Programme Euroclima incorporating 15 countries from the Caribbean region which now will join the 18 Latin American countries.

The EU-LAC Forum took place July 13 – 14 in Brussels and was envisaged ahead of the EU-CELAC summit. The overall objective of the Forum was to have an inclusive exchange with non-state actors and to discuss opportunities to build a sustainable and inclusive future for both regions.
With the support of Euroclima, 10 Argentine cities gathered to advance in the development of their Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans.
The realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the objectives of the Paris Agreement require increasing capital flows towards investments that contribute to sustainable and low-carbon economic development.
