EUROCLIMA+ will hold a regional event in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Brussels, September 26, 2018. The annual EUROCLIMA+ meeting will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 8, 9 and 10. This year, the event will be held in parallel with the XXI Forum of Ministers of the Environment of Latin America.

Some of the thematic areas that will be debated during the meeting will be: the improvement of public policies related to climate change in Latin America or the analysis of strategic guidelines for the possible provision of additional resources of the European Union to promote environmentally sustainable development in the Latin American region. In addition, information on the activities, results and challenges of the Programme will be shared.

The meeting will be attended by representatives of each of the Programme’s 18 partner countries. It will also bring together senior officials of the Argentine government. The event will take place at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center, where the XXI Forum of Ministers of the Environment of Latin America will also take place October 9-12.
