On Thursday 22 July, a virtual regional exchange session took place to address target setting and scenarios through modelling tools in LTCSs.
The event was organised by the International and Ibero-America Foundation for Administration and Public Policy (FIIAPP) as part of the EUROCLIMA+ Programme and in the framework of the initiative "Regional Collaboration on Transparency and Compliance with Nationally Determined Contributions and Capacity Building for Long Term Climate Strategies". At the beginning of the session a survey was conducted to explore the expectations of the participants, most of them expressed what they hoped to learn as well as generating network contacts.
The session was attended by around 30 representatives of the governments of Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica and Uruguay, countries that are part of the initiative, as well as Panama, Peru and Honduras, countries that were also invited to participate.
