Transformational project design

New publication aims to provide tools for green cooperation.

Brussels, Belgium. February 25, 2021. Understanding the current crisis as an opportunity, we are at a key moment to accelerate a transformation towards climate-neutral and resilient societies.

In this regard, the report "Transformational Project Design" aims to help us understand the nature of "transformations", as well as to provide quality criteria for transformational interventions based on an analysis of existing approaches in international cooperation.

The publication, which is now available for download, was presented a few days ago in a webinar organised by AILAC and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) as part of its contribution to EUROCLIMA+, where the author of the document, Daniel Kehrer of GIZ, presented the main findings and conclusions of this report to promote holistic and cross-sectoral approaches in the design of transformational projects in confronting the climate crisis.

In addition to the author's presentation, the webinar included presentations by Ulises Lovera, representing the AILAC ProTempore Presidency for Paraguay, and Bernhard Zymla, coordinator of GIZ EUROCLIMA+.
