High-level policy dialogue and regional cooperation on electric mobility

The objective of this action is the promotion of high-level policy dialogue and regional cooperation to explore common priorities, exchange of knowledge, best practices, lessons learned, and opportunities associated with electric mobility. This action integrates a large number of activities that can be classified into three categories.

  1. High-level policy dialogue actions linked to the Forum of Ministers of the Environment of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as the first global resolution on sustainable mobility at the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA4).
  2. High-level and intersectoral (energy and transport) policy dialogues under the COP25 Presidency to promote electric mobility in the region.
  3. Other communication campaigns and strategic events, such as an event at the Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week (LACCW) on cities and transport; an event for increasing the ambitions of NDCs through electric mobility at the PreCOP25; the I COMMIT campaign to obtain commitments that increase ambition for NDCs; or the support to the incubation of the Latin American Association for Sustainable Mobility (ALAMOS).
