This publication outlining a practical framework for setting the course towards a sustainable, inclusive and resilient transformation in countries’ efforts for economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. It is the first of three products in the series Green Recovery for Practitioners, particularly developed for the NDC Partnership's Economic Advisory Initiative. This is a joint effort by the IKI Support Project for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement (SPA), the EU-funded EUROCLIMA+ programme and E3G.
The series aims to provide insights on how green recovery planning can be approached and what factors can contribute to successful implementation as well as a collection of good practices.
This first publication provides orientation in this complex field by 1) looking at powerful arguments for and existing understandings of a green recovery, as well as 2) by providing practical lists of possible outcomes, stakeholders, tools and examples to consider for green recovery planning.
