This action aims to channel funding for Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) projects in urban areas through the creation of proposals.

Based on the interest raised in the region for the development of adaptation strategies for urban areas, a proposal for regional preparedness is being developed in order to identify key opportunities for Latin American cities to develop climate change resilience measures through Nature-based Solutions (NbS). The proposal will aim to diagnose current risks, future vulnerabilities, priority adaptation strategies and the most appropriate financial mechanisms to implement and sustain those strategies.
