eclac1The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) works together with the Technical Assistance to implement Component 2: Adaptation and mitigation “no-regrets” measures.

ECLAC's Objetive: Designs and provides a set of public policy measures of “no-regrets” and/or with co-benefits for adaptation and mitigation, to address the problem of climate change and to implement them in Latin America (Result 2).

 

ECLAC's responsibilities include:

• Develop and disseminate socio-economic studies to promote adaptation and mitigation "no-regrets" and/or with co-benefits.

• Strengthen technical and social capacities of key stakeholders to identify, design, implement and evaluate a set of public economic, social and environmental policy measures "no-regret" and/or with co-benefits.
